Veteran Peer Navigator Bill Patience Featured in Video

This video shows the harsh reality of what it is to be a vet on the streets of San Diego - it's not easy.

There are 643 unhoused veterans in San Diego County, which represents 6% of the total homeless population*.

But there is hope: The Veterans Navigation Center ("The VNC"), staffed by Veteran Peer Navigators like Bill Patience is here to help. The VNC connects veterans with resources that can help them get access to services and benefits.

Using U.S. veteran Floyd Holt (not an unhoused veteran, but one recovering from a horrific injury) this video shows how The VNC can help veterans who need it.
