Veterans Navigation Center Founder on KUSI San Diego

Scott H. Silverman is one of the Founders and Board Members of Veterans Navigation Center (The VNC), and he appeared on KUSI San Diego this week to discuss and promote the mission of our organization.

Simply put, The VNC is designed to fill in the gaps that veterans experience when they are trying to get help with their transition to civilian life, and are waiting on a response from helpful but sometimes slow VA system.

San Diego is city with the 3rd largest veteran population per capita in the United States, and there are far too many veterans who are in need of assistance with mental health issues, substance use disorders, employment assistance, and even food and housing insecurity.

To get help, Scott recommends visiting The Veterans Navigation Center website. You can watch the entire segment on Youtube here.

Scott H. Silverman is an interventionist and the CEO of Confidential Recovery, an outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, which treats a lot of veterans and first responders.
